The remake was an incredible success, and it only makes sense for the developer to continue it with a remake to the next installment in the franchise. Motive’s Dead Space remake did considerably well in connecting with existing fans of the original game and introducing new players to the horror game through an experience that’s faithful enough to the source material and renovated enough to feel modern. The Iron Man game is a new IP for EA, and in an era where remakes are being made left and right, a completely new experience is always a breath of fresh air. Marvel’s Spider-Man from Insomniac Games nails the feeling of swinging through New York as Spider-Man, and using that as a reference point for how superhero games should feel, it’s fun to speculate how flying and maneuvering in the air as Iron Man while blasting airborne and grounded enemies will feel. With there being so much time since the last AAA Iron Man game, what EA Motive’s take on the superhero will look like is completely up in the air. EA Motive’s Iron Man is the first AAA Iron Man game in years, which makes this an even more exciting release for fans of the metal-suited hero. With the excitement surrounding the upcoming releases of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine, Marvel Snap currently being an immensely popular mobile game, and 2021’s Guardians of the Galaxy receiving considerable praise, it’s clear that gamers are generally happy with and excited about the Marvel games available and approaching. Marvel games are doing fairly well right now.
